Peer Review Process

Journal Policy: Single-Blind Review

At IJTVET, we are committed to maintaining scholarly integrity, transparency, and excellence in academic publishing. The peer review process is central to ensuring the quality and credibility of the research we disseminate. This policy outlines the single-blind review approach and the procedures involved.

1. Submission and Initial Screening

When a manuscript is submitted to IJTVET, it first undergoes an initial assessment to determine its alignment with the journal’s aims, formatting requirements, and ethical guidelines. Only manuscripts that meet these criteria move forward to the peer review stage.

2. Assignment of Reviewers

The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor assigns qualified reviewers who possess expertise relevant to the manuscript’s topic. Reviewers are chosen based on their academic background, research experience, and the absence of conflicts of interest with the authors.

3. Single-Blind Review Procedure

In the single-blind system, reviewers remain anonymous, while the authors’ identities are visible to them. Reviewers assess the manuscript for originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity, and adherence to scholarly standards, providing feedback based on their informed judgment.

4. Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers submit comprehensive evaluations and recommendations regarding the manuscript’s publication suitability. Their recommendations typically include:

  • Acceptance

  • Revision (with specific suggestions)

  • Rejection (with clear justifications and constructive critique)

5. Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief consolidates and evaluates the reviewers’ comments, taking into account scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and ethical considerations. The editorial decision is then communicated to the authors, accompanied by the reviewers’ feedback to ensure transparency.

6. Author Revision and Response

Authors are given the opportunity to address reviewer comments and revise their manuscript accordingly. The revised submission may undergo additional evaluation to confirm that the concerns raised have been satisfactorily resolved.

7. Final Decision and Publication

After reviewing the authors’ revisions and responses, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final determination to accept, request further revision, or reject the manuscript. Accepted papers are then processed for publication, upholding IJTVET’s standards of quality and integrity.

IJTVET’s single-blind review system reflects our dedication to rigorous scholarly evaluation, ethical practice, and transparency. By promoting impartial reviews, constructive dialogue, and continuous improvement, we strive to uphold high academic standards and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge. This policy provides clear guidance for authors, reviewers, and editorial team members, supporting a fair, objective, and robust review process that strengthens scholarly communication.
