Penguasaan Bacaan Al-Quran Menerusi Tahsin Al-Quran

Abstrak

The Qur'an is a source of guidance for Muslims. Believing in the Qur'an is part of the pillars of faith. A correct understanding of the essence of the Qur'an is an important matter that needs to be emphasized. Therefore, the implementation of this study aims to look at the mastery of Quran recitation of students in polytechnics. The foot sample consisted of 13 Semester 2 students who took the Science Technology and Engineering in Islam (MPU23052) course at Politeknik Kuching Sarawak. This action research involves observation methods and checklists to see the effectiveness of students' al-Quran recitation mastery. The observation was done through three phases: the division from week 1 to 10 of the lecture.  It was found that students showed an increase in reading proficiency in phase 3 and felt that reading the Quran through Tahsin can also increase their interest in reading the Quran every day. Hopefully, this research can increase the understanding of al-Quran to produce a generation that firmly believes and practice with al-Quran.
